This cool All-Sky Solution accessory is designed specifically for use with the Orion StarShoot All-In-One Astronomy Camera (SSAIO). This affordable solution makes it possible to capture horizon-to-horizon views of your entire sky with the SSAIO (camera sold separately).

The Orion StarShoot All-In-One AllSky Solution consists of a high-quality 180° fisheye lens and Orion Handy AVILite software that, when used in combination with Orion AstroCap software included with the StarShoot All-In-One (SSAIO) Astrophotography Camera, can detect meteors, create time-lapse movies, FTP images and movies to a website, email a detected meteor image, and more. The included software is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7 and 8 (32 bit/64 bit).

Included Orion Handy AVILite software allows you to easily make time-lapse videos using footage captured with the SSAIO and fisheye lens. Unlike regular videos, time-lapse videos consist of frames taken at a slower rate, so sky activity appears to be greatly speeded up. When used in combination with longer exposure times the results can be very rewarding. You can use the All-Sky Solution to film time-lapse videos of anything in the sky including moving clouds, meteor showers, star trails, the arching Milky Way, and more! The only limitations are your imagination regarding what to photograph using a time-lapse video process. Anything that occurs slowly, such as stars migrating across the night sky, can be sped up using time-lapse photography with amazing results. 

The StarShoot All-In-One All-Sky Solution also lets you to easily create meteor trail videos using the StarShoot All-In-One Astrophotography Camera. Meteor detection can be done real-time or by scanning through older movie files. Images and movies of meteors can then be sent via FTP or email. OrionHandyAviLite software employs a sophisticated motion detection algorithm which allows capture of ENTIRE meteor trails. Your AVI file, after a night of recording, will be relatively small and contain only those frames associated with meteor trails, or other interesting objects moving across the sky such as airplane trails. The sophisticated motion detection algorithm employed by OrionHandyAVI Lite completely eliminates false detections caused by camera noise, cosmic ray events, star scintillation, etc. The system will also capture multiple lightning bolts and any other phenomena that trigger the motion detection system.
